Ashamed Of You Poem by Etienne Charilaou

Ashamed Of You

There's a dirty little word,
feared, reviled, despised, criticized;
abhorred, ignored, belittled, bemoaned,
satirized.

A word so many eschew,
a shame to utter if you do.

I'll not belabour the point,
I'm guilty too!

That word is
‘God'.
