At Daybreak Poem by Timothy McPoetry

At Daybreak

Circular disc
Checkerboard pattern to grip mapely ooze

Chocolate chip?
Blueberry?
Buttermilk?
I don't care!

How do you like yours?
Soft?
Crispy?
Kinda burnt?

Either way, don't take mine!
Leggo of it now!
It's my breffust!
