At Least

I know I can't be all you need
At least you have a friend in me
At least I'm use to making your day
At least I try not to hurt you in any way

I know I can't have all the time you need
At least I call and say 'Good morning'
At least I text at night or in the evening
At least I see us when I'm dreaming

I know I can't afford to buy you any gift
At least have my love, it is all I can give
At least it ain't like roses it will never die
At least I don't cheat got caught and lie

I know I can't afford to take you out
At least I'm sweet but twenty one
At least fears about us, I'm having none
At least I won't forget that, you are the one
