At The Mountain Passes Poem by Keith Shorrocks Johnson

At The Mountain Passes

At the mountain passes

The wind will never still -

And as the Great Earth turns

Each day the dawn must rise.

The words that presage freedom

Are universal, eternal, immemorial.

Watch the wind catch first light

Listen to the sun as it speaks out.
