At Tymes Poem by Jawon Whetstone

At Tymes

Rating: 4.5

There are times when I find myself -
Dazed N Confused -
Amused by subtle entities
Subjective to choose
And I kno that,
But at the same time
Retracted from Heaven's relevance -
Entrenched by a circular disposition
By which, I feel enclosed and trapped in -
To delegate myself as,
The receptacle of happiness
Is irony within itself
Because I have been chastised and criticized
Then broke to the left
Undecisive -
Of whether or not
It is what its said to be
Half and half to equal one
In conjunction to:
'Half of U is Half of Me'
I hear things, that imply
My stereopisis of a select organism
Is involved in my certainty
Just as diamonds have clarity
Purpose holds serenity
Dissolved emotions evaporate
Just to percipitate -
Over N over
In a subsequential manner-
Many henceforth the thereafter
Dwelling under a vast cover of resonance
By grabbing hold to benevolence
From sun deprived dark clouds
Winds blow releasing whispers
That quietly answers questions
Like-
Why am I here-
Where do I go-
Is that, that is whole a partial expression
Contending yes to no
No is yes
Yet nonetheless,
An anomily is tyranny
Is adjacent to the epitamy of empathy
I stand spellbound and sedated
In the most poised concentrated form
Alarmed by yesterday's presence
During today's recollection-
But when tomorrow states a difference
From what the day before yesterday said
Would take place the day after tomorrow
Where can i borrow the strength
To focus on the here now
When NOW I'm not even here, .. See
There are times when I find myself -
Dazed N Confused-
Confused by the sublime entities
Behind the motives-
OF WHY I DO WHAT I DO

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I have read this six times over already. It's very good. Even fascinating. The very first time I read it though I had to think to myself, 'Does the writer know where he/she is going with this? ' To my pleasant surprise you had a not so elegant yet very satisfying ending. Like life itself.... Love how the ending was like a snap back into 'reality.' 9/10 Well done! I wish I could put such things into words...
