Atomic Summer



How will be it atomic summer,
Atoms bursting and ruining the world,
Life
And the green earth,
Atoms dropped and tested,
Nuclear radiation leaking
From the reactors
Causing untimely death and scorching,
Taking a heavy toll upon mankind,
Costing life and livelihood,
Fires emitted from atomic furnaces
Unextinguishable,
Singeing and scorching it all?
