Attitude Poem by Georgene Lane

Attitude

Rating: 3.5

As the elder years approach
And we're ready to retire,
Let's get a new lease on life
As the old one is about to expire.
Let's jump right in and do things,
There's so much to be done,
Why sit around and mope
When we can be having fun.
Instead of "Don't know if I can hack it,"
Heck, buy a new tennis racquet.
We can multiply our years,
If we just discard our fears.
