Au Revoir Poem by Danny The Dreamer Boyd

Au Revoir

Rating: 4.5

I wish that I could say you were the best;
For many months—alas—I thought you were:
I even let you drop my dear distress,
I nearly kicked away my comfort zone,
And was okay with being skin and bone;
Oh, little did I know I would depress
You when I sought dissolving your despair; —
I only had in mind intentions fair! —
I let you in my deepest, dark recess,
I showed you how I hate to be alone;
Redemption road—though sworn—I was not shown,
Forlorn, I was but running out of bliss,
I'll never drop my guard again, I swear;
Alas, 'tis time for you to join the list.

A brilliant read.. Sometimes it's indeed necessary for us to let go people who do not understand our concern.. Thanks for sharing Danny :)
