Austin Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Austin

From the very first love that we shared and,
Of the first night of your nakedness before me;
From the first romance of your roses and,
Of the muse of your sweet smell on my bed;
But, Austin came and took you away from me.

What is love?
Tell me if you know;
But today you've hurt my feelings.

The moon and the stars will always be there,
And of the realm of realms to see me through;
Because your love is all over me and,
I will walk along with you in my mind always.

Oh! Of the deeper love that we shared;
And of the fantasies that emerged,
But today you are in the arms od Austin.

The aroma of your flowers is now in the black forest and,
With the winter of Hamburg and the summer of Accra;
But i will priase the morning star with my molasses!

I hope to meet you one day,
I hope to meet you again to tell you my mind;
Because horses are ridden for war at times.
