Australia Day Poem Poem by Tia Attwood

Australia Day Poem

My land so rich of history
with dreamtime legends which flow free,
in hearts and mind, of those like me
which; to the vast, still mystery

with luscious greens and pastel hues,
that lay beneath, vast opal blues,
made home too our iconic 'roos
which; does create our stunning views.

To make unique our nations tag;
unite the Crux on NAIDOC flag
while with the Union Jack we'll rag,
and watch as tongues' of nations wag.

My land so rich of history
with dreamtime legends which flow free,
in hearts and mind of those like me
which; to the vast, still mystery.
