Awaiting Spring Time Poem by Ray Hansell

Awaiting Spring Time

Rating: 5.0

The winter winds are blowing
It's as cold as the sea
I've got my hat and coat on
But the cold goes right through me

It's only December
We still have a long way to go
I know one thing for sure
I won't have to deal with snow

The winds always seem
To make it much colder
This weather is hard to deal with
As one is getting older

I'm hoping now that spring time
Arrives early this year
The shining sun and singing birds
I'd welcome with a cheer

You have beautifully captured the winter wind and the scene is painted with greater vision. This weather is ideal and you have nicely captured the imagery. This poem is interestingly penned.10
