Waves of hope rise with the sun’s brawn
Searching for a new tomorrow
Leaving yesterday forever
Surpassing all it’s sorrow

Thoughts build shapes in the big blue sky
As I fall deeper through
A simplistic serenity
Of aptitudes I never knew

Searching, seeing, floating, flying
To what is unlike me
And is so very like you
But now, I finally see

The possibility in everything
The everything in none
The serenity of the sky
The hope in a sun
