Away Poem by Hayden Meads

Away

Away, away, away. I told you I would stay. And there you go away, running as I stay. Playing in the rain, splashing in the puddle, playing as you leave today. I look forward, you don't look back. And on your back there is a sack. I knew not yet, but in time you wouldn't be back.
