Awoken Poem by adam que

Awoken

Waking up in a cold sweat fending off the reminiscence of nightmares
that are filled with fears, fragility, and doubts
And so the soul shouts and within a storm that awakens the truth that beacons upon its roots of strength, inner power, and self wealth
So the tremble subsides beacause these chains that bondage the will are not broken but rather carried as a reminder how one has overcome and how one has truly become dignified
