B.L.O.O.D. Poem by Luke Easter

B.L.O.O.D.

Rating: 5.0

B.L.O.O.D. Being Led Out Of Darkness,
1st John 1: 9, “our sins are forgiven should we confess, ”
The Blood of Jesus orchestrated a church with a steeple,
An offering to our Father for the errors of His people.

Deuteronomy 8 tells how man will discipline & instruct,
Success is rarely determined solely based on luck,
The Word of your Bible will make everything clear,
It’s time to tell the evil one, “The buck stops here.”

I Kings 20: 11, “Warriors still dressing for battles not done,
Shouldn’t boast like the warrior who has already won, ”
Miracle healings, demons cast, Jesus was still singled out,
Isaiah 53: 7, “being led to slaughter He opened not His mouth.”

Faith is the answer lest anyone should feel the need to boast,
How many on their own take the credit? The answer is most,
It’s not meant to be funny like the old Dean Martin Roast,
Selfishness is a contagious disease, infecting coast to coast.

Jeff and Luke agreed, “on our spiritual path before we begin, ”
II Kings 6: 16, “those with us are more than those with them, ”
It’s absolutely imperative to be around others, who have no fear,
Psalm 91, “by our dwelling no evil or plague shall come near.”

Although some battles are lost, Christians still win the war,
While the bad guys score a little, good guys will tally more,
Isaiah 41: 9, “You are called to serve, I will not throw you away, ”
Verse 10, “Don’t be afraid, I am with you. Do not be dismayed.”

The rites in the Old Testament verses the passages of the new,
Proverbs 3: 6, “He’ll show a path, seek His will in all you do, ”
I John 3: 1, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed, ”
More precious than diamonds and rubies, even silver or gold.

Keep it in your mind God’s word is always the final authority,
Narrow Is The Gate because sincere believers are a vast minority,
By the way, faith will never be a switch that’s turned off and on,
Healing & success is not a 100-yard dash it’s an up hill marathon.

All of the turmoil will seem like forever but slow does not mean no,
Intense training, stretching, runners on your mark, set, then its go,
The finest wine is aged years in a barrel this is what sets it apart,
Noah didn’t wait till he saw rain before starting to build the ark.

Exodus 23: 20, “Sending an angel before you giving special charge, ”
Never fold, you’re holding a winning hand, why throw in the cards?
Psalm 35: 27, “God has pleasure in the prosperity of those who serve, ”
When all hell’s breaking loose, now is not the time to lose your nerve.

You’re blood anointed and that means strength, favor, divine ability,
Everyday alive is in itself a cause for a celebration of praise victory,
Ephesians 3: 4, “ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery, ”
1st Corinthians 13: 2, “you are still nothing without adding charity.”

Those who say we can’t claim the reward, they have already lost,
Over 2,000 years ago on a hill called Calvary, Jesus paid the cost,
This qualifies all believers to an overflowing abundance because,
Of all the gifts from our Father the greatest 1 is still agapao love.

Meditate on the positive promises not the negative amount of time,
Focus on the desired outcome you’re on the other side of the finish line,
No matter how stagnate the medical valley or deep the financial flood,
Victory is already assured by the ultimate sacrifice of His B.L.O.O.D.

The title is creative! Nice acronym. You know sir, it's a good thing that there are still some Christian poets who obviously share Jesus using their poetic talents.
