bProvoking the Restless Dreamer/b

…I dream of more
Then all of this pain and destruction we hold
I dream of more…

I need a reason to survive
A reason to stay alive
It’s so hard to stay on top of things
‘Crash down’ please destroy my dreams

Because I dream of more
Then all of this
I dream of more then the
pain and destruction we hold
I dream of a time that won’t exist
I dream that we have souls
That we have souls…

I’ve seen it all in your eyes
I’ve seen your tears and heard you cry
I don’t want a part in all of this
Why do we run and flee from Your kiss?

Now I dream of more
Then all of this
I dream of more then the
pain and destruction we hold
I dream of a time that won’t exist
I dream that we have souls

That we have souls
Save me now
Save me from myself
I’m wearing
Wearing myself out
And I’m falling behind
My heart beats fast and
My body’s numb
I can’t survive like this
Now black is the sun

And I have always dreamed

poet Sarah Flower Adams

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
