Ba: Ciiii: On Translation

Over here,
we’re highfalutin’ and fake,
if we say ‘one’ and ‘enchanted’,
instead of ‘you’ and ‘pleastameechuh’,
for ‘on’ and ‘enchanté’;

and prudish and fake,
when it’s ‘reveller’ or ‘rake’
we say,
for the French word
‘débauché’.
