Baby Steps

Baby steps

It happens little
by little.

A little girl
taking steps,
unsteady at first until,
stepping a little farther
into the future every day.

A young woman
walks across the stage
in her graduation gown.

I remember that little girl.

That was a sweet poem, i liked it. It reminds me of my graduation that I just had a week ago. Nicely Written.

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
