Baby World Poem by Elayne Ogbeta

Baby World

I know a place

Far far away

Where the day is called night

And the night is called day

Where cat chases dog

And mouse chases cat

Where fat is called thin

And thin is called fat

And in this place far out of town

The rain falls up instead of down

I know a place

Far far away

Where children bite

And animals play

Where baby's laugh

When in a wet nappy

And cry when they

Are fed and happy

And in this place where I have been

There's no such thing as king or queen

I know a place

Far far away

Where parents go free

And babies pay

Where men catch stars

In a silver sea

Sail in the sky

To drink their tea

And in this place I love to tell

The babies rule and they rule well
