'Back Off, Nosy' - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

'Back Off, Nosy' - Lincoln Park Zoo

A nosy polar bear, Siku,
Sticks his nose in Talini's biz
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
Talini's thinking, 'Oh, gee whiz! '
'This guy is always in my face.'
Whenever she's outside for sure.
Siku does want to share her space,
Wanting him to be what is her
Only matter upon her mind.
Sometimes boundaries she must set,
And Talini's not always kind,
Emphasizing Siku must get.

Siku has optimistic knack,
Telling Talini, 'I'll be back.'
