Bad Dream



Last night I had a dream
And it scared me so
Because you said to me
That you had to go

I woke up screaming
My body drenched in sweat
My heart was pounding
The bed was soaking wet

But soon I felt your hand
Gently touch my chest
You said, you had a bad dream
Relax and get some rest

The softness of your hand
As it lightly touched my skin
Once again brought me back
From a bad place I had been
