Bad Things Poem by katie longcoy

Bad Things

It started long ago,
way before my parents were ever born,
pollution has gone on too long,
the world is being ruined,
the trees are being cut down,
this must be stopped.

I speak for the trees,
for they have no mouths,
I speak for the water,
for it is being turned brown.

We need solutions,
so come on polotions,
lie to us some more,
tell us this will all work out,
that you will improve things,
well polotions, I see no changes,
trees are still being cut down,
the water is still being turned brown.

There are other ways to get enegry,
like the wind, air, or even the rays.
shinning down from the sun each day,
it's our world, we need to protect it,
so come on people, hold up those signs and protest.
