Badgering Poem by Ima Ryma

Badgering

This human was studying me,
And left a dead cow on the ground,
With a camera on to see
What happened when this badger found
The carcass, so I played along.
A bunch of tunnels I did dig
Underneath, and the dead weight strong
Collapsed into a hole just big
Enough to then cover in dirt,
With one tunnel for me thereto.
For days I ate desert dessert,
Fun for this bored badger to do.

The human was beyond belief,
Yelling out loudly, 'Where's the beef! '
