Bananas And Apples Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Bananas And Apples

I ate two bananas and you ate two apples,
And being moved with a fervent zeal to meet your love;
For she threshed the barley like the 'Indigo Girls' and,
Her sweet love was satisfied by his lover!
But i will always meet you my love.

Bananas and apples,
My heart is merry and i am glad to see you again;
And there is no one like you my sweet one,
For your sweet love is all that i need.
