You know, barns are much like people
They have character and also flaws
They have been though all kinds of weather
From summer to the springtime thaw
They are needed for many years
Until they fall apart and can’t be used
And yes, there are times, my friend
When they are unmercifully abused
But they are all so very beautiful
I’m sure that you’ll agree
It’s that special kind of look a barn has
Out in a vast field or amongst the trees
Some are old and stately manors
For the animals of their time
A beauty like no other
Even long past their useful prime
Do you have a barn poem, folks
That you would like to share?
Then submit it, for you will see
That the world does truly care!
