Bat 'Bleep' Poem by Ima Ryma

Bat 'Bleep'

During the day, a bat hangs out,
Hanging upside down during sleep.
And then when night time comes about,
There is no need to upward leap.
I just let go and start to fall,
Spread my wings and the air lifts me
Back up to soar to dinner call,
Grabbing bunches of bugs to be
Swallowed in nocturnal buffet.
Something did make my tummy ache.
I returned to rest for the day,
Hoping good digestion would take.

Hanging upside down was real bad,
With the diarrhea I had.
