Battled Hearts Poem by Cindy Kagori

Battled Hearts

A perfect love; described in my head,
how could I fall in unseen valleys,
How could I feel yet not what dreamt,
Could I fall in love in a losing battle?
In thoughtsdid I find my heart.

A sweet soul; smiled at every thought,
Never let him fight against himself,
I wished him happiness not battles,
The closest would shun hence unhappy,
In my head I lost my soulmate.

Days months years have gone,
Yet my heart wails for my beloved,
Could never get over the anxiety,
The hope of changeable facts,
Could I love in a battle?
In my head I lost my Love.
