Be Responsible Poem by Starseed Child

Responsibility, it means you comprehend you no longer are a child you stand on your own feet...when you place your name down your saying that you will be there if not you accept the trouble it brings by breaking it, you no longer count on others to wake you up, cook meals or pay off your problems you choose this because some where in your soul wanted to take on this responsibility to push yourself, the time you owe is yours, the money you owe is yours you are now an adult pull yourself from sitting and watching others prove, you take what you owe yourself, help can be offered and given but you wont receive it every minute of everyday...its not something purchased or given its understanding you will not make excuses or lie, your word is showing how responsible you truly are, fallow it like and arrow only then will you truly understand how it feels for your pears and teachers to rely on you and only you...on one standing behind you watching everything, what you say and do reflect on yourself as an adult...no matter how you feel you are responsible for it don't play with people saying your a victim to circumstances when you yourself created it, allowed for it to go this far you are no victim learn from you mistakes and change it, learn from it but don't deny them straying from your path won't change your outcome...it's not going to eliminate who you are, it's going to build yourself to someone better and who can be trusted, you can still get made because your human but don't let someone else take your responsibility and make you feel guilty when they do wrong but don't slander their name with lies because it back lashes, they will bury their own in the mud...remember to be responsible take it with a grain of salt because nothing is worth holding on to, nothing is worth letting anger stew or eat away at you...from responsibility you grow and learn, life will not always go your way nor fallow your standards it will surprise you, scare you and sometimes even hit deep emotions such as anger, hate or sadness you can't control keep it in the back of your mind every decision you make every obstacle you over come is reflecting on how you carry yourself if you don't like how things are forming around you be accountable and start changing everything because you control it now no one else...but with that keep others in mind we all grow and learn at a different pace you may be miles ahead of the person next to you while they are stuck in a particular situation and it keeps repeating until they learn their lesson you can always help but be mindful of your words you can teach but don't take control and take their lesson away because in the end we all need to learn responsibility differently each having our own lessons in the end...
