Bear Witness Poem by oio ZIGA

Bear Witness

Is the moon blind that she sees not the evils done in the dead of night
Are the stars colluding with the dark to rob fate
Are the shimmering night stars complicit?

Let the Sun come forth and bear witness.

Are the eyes shut to see the truth
Does the eagle up up in the sky still see so sharp
Will the ears say they hear not the whims
When will the tongue lash the thief.

Let the Sun come forth and bear witness.

My name is truth
My faith is fairness
Even in doubt I see the light
May the just be claimed to free.

As the storms wage the wars
And the calm be with thee
Let just be set as fair
And the price of crimes be pound of flesh.

Let the Sun come forth and bear witness.
