Beat Poem by Sarah Elizabeth Clark

Beat

Rating: 5.0

I think I'm feeling dizzy,
I cannot keep my feet.
They stumble and they leave me,
Stranded on the street.

I think I need some guiding,
I'll let you lead the way.
And I'll forget the silly things,
My problems fade away.

I have some resolutions,
Resolve to keep my word.
So I would keep your secrets,
If that's what you preferred.

I'll let you do the talking,
I'll learn to hold my tongue.
I'll give you my opinion,
When all your talking's done.

I'll try to make some time,
To see you in between,
The things that keep me busy,
When you're not on the scene.

And if I get too tired,
To call you every day,
We'll get together soon,
And we will be okay.
