Never thought I'd feel this way about a best friend
It all happened so quickly that I didnt even realize
All in one night under the stars
And your looking at me like I'm the most beautiful girl by far

Youve always been a sweetheart, crazy and kind
But I've never seen this side
Never seen you be a gentleman before tonite
Please dont ever stop, dont leave my side

Please dont get offended if I move slowly
Havent had anyone so kind and gentlemanly
I may cross my fingers and close my eyes
Cause if this is a dream I dont want to realize

Never been treated so sweetly
Never had anyone look like u look at me
Never heard a kind word from any man
