She's beautiful and bubbly
And mixes easily
Her warmth descends on anyone
That her green eyes might see.
The men always feel special
And the ladies long to be
As easily captivating
And as confident as she.
But me? I'm plain and most unlike
That lady you can see
I'm lost, afraid and so unsure
Of who I hope to be.
I try to speak and shake inside
And pray no-one will see
But in my midnight mirror
Two green eyes laugh at me.
Wonderful description of a problem more comon than it should be.

A fine piece, well composed. Sometimes in life we see things in ourselves that we wish we could change, its not as easy as we'd like it to be. Thanks for sharing. Stay strong. all the very best Jon
