Beautiful Angel Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Beautiful Angel

A single red rose he placed at her feet
And garnets and diamonds he brought for his Sweet
Oh how he yearned for the one he loved so.
She was 'the prettiest' he'll ever know.

As she spoke to him softly, with a glow in her smile,
Moving with grace, and elegant style,
His footsteps drew nearer, he said anxiously
'I will love you forever and ever to be'.

She was his whole life ~ his night and his day
Overcome with her beauty, few words could he say.
A fair queen was she from the heavens above.
Chaste as an angel, and pure as a dove.
