Beautiful Dreamer Poem by Katty Livingston

Beautiful Dreamer

Rating: 5.0

Beautiful Dreamer,
You just couldn't keep her.
The most you ever gave me was,
Sorrow.
Left in the quiet,
I learned to fall silent-
And just keep waiting for,
Tomorrow.

I'll never understand why you just
Gave it all away.
If it weren't for this apathy,
I'd wish I would've stayed.

So, here I come-
There I go.
Where I'm off to,
No one knows.
I spread my wings,
And I've learned to fall.
I'm on my way,
Just trying to make it through all.

Left in the cold, I
Felt so alone, lost-
So insecure.
You're just not worth this battle,
With fate-
You're a little too late, I
think it's high timed that we've both moved on.
And I'm already halfway gone.

So, here I come-
There I go.
Where I'm off to,
No one knows.
I spread my wings,
And I've learned to fall.
I'm on my way,
Just trying to make it through all.

Well, maybe this love was
Meant to keep going.
But I can't keep living in doubt,
Never knowing.

So, here I come-
There I go.
Where I'm off to,
No one knows.
I spread my wings,
And I've learned to fly.
I'm on my way,
It's time to say goodbye.

Beautiful Dreamer,
You just couldn't keep her.
