Beautiful Wishful Thinking

I wish I was a flower, defenceless to the pluck and defensible with love
My beauty renders the mind of the mean mellow
Sometimes the love so overwhelming that the pluck felt like plum not plague
Wherever I am or wherever I‘m taken to
I beautify dull places and mesmerise occasions of melancholy and celebrations

If I’m not taken away to some place
I fly and rise up in some place
My purpose in life is clear
To spark dull minds and decorate dull places

I would maximise the happiness that is there and the sombre beauty that is there
Wherever I’m not present I’m not missed and the smiles will not rise
The aura of happiness remains limited by the charm, nothing else
If only I was able to withstand the pluck and prune
I would choose where I want to be

I will not necessarily want a place of desperadoes
Where I’m placed on a coffin or on a grave
Where the late had not seen me in bloom
Where the fiend does not deserve my smile but only my tears of sorrow

My sedulous friends understand my meek and moods
And see beyond ambrosia, my sadness and loss of colour
To the loveless in the world outside they would seem non compos mentis
For talking to the mum and answer to themselves
Reciprocation to my sedulous friends is the simplest of my strength
I smile and brighten their places
My grin is simply enlarged by the return of the smiles
