Soulless eyes that stare through,
The people you once loved and knew.
Empty passion now forsaken;
Everything from your heart was taken.

They left you there,
Your pain on your own to bare.
I watch you now;
To mend this I do not know how.

Gently your hand I take,
To dry tears that formed a lake.
A broken heart now to mend;
A fiery passion to restore within.

But whole again will you never be,
No matter what your heart may see;
For she took your passion as no small token,
And now you are forever beautifully broken.
