Beauty Poem by Iyanuoluwa Okunola

Beauty

Among the flowers i am,

They give their praises to the sky,

Their hymns swarms around me,

Their whispers, a ray of sunlight,

Soldiers are made,

Guns are paroled,

The sky is white

The clouds are born,

They stood still,

They watches the flowers bloom,

The sky smiles on the flowers,

A mermaid,

Their countenance, men fall,

Their smile, heaven's awake,

It stares into my eyes,

A ton of patched lens,

Its figs withers,

The Phoenix sheds its tear on them,

A child hatches,

A generation of wonder,

Each, behold to look upon.
