Became an Angel

By fragile wind
The leaf travels through
It speaks to me
And it falls to you

You read the note
Writ upon that leaf
And slowly, slowly
You start to weep

For I am here on this earth no more
And to the stars I travel for
Maybe you and I shall meet again soon
Under the mist of Jupiter's third moon

My wings have grown
Grown for me to know
To know past this earth and past this sky
To know that so many dreams have passed us by
