Because Poem by Mathew Lewis

Because

Rating: 3.1

Because I am constantly trying to break free,
It is ultimatley impossible for me to do so.
Because I can only see out of my own two eyes,
I will never understand a fate that is not mine.
Because I am not a woman nor a mother,
I will never know the true joy of creation.
Because I only have two legs and two arms,
I can only serve one purpose at a time.
Because my soul is mine, and mine alone,
I can only be me.
