Because He Loves Me

As one in my senior years I must move forward,
Confident, strong in spirit,
It's a thought that fills my every waking hour,
It is much too easy for the aging life to sour the
Dreams for a happy life growing older, but
With prayers being said not to fear it, I grow bolder.
I hold fast to the truth that it is a gift divine
Given by My Heavenly Father above, through
His undeserved kindness so the scripture says and
His precious ever-lasting love.
