Because I no longer love you
The sun did no burst in the sky
The banks gave way to the river
The great rocks cracked the seas
The moon waned saying
There is no forever
The air fills itself with the foul smell
Of dead black birds
The shadows of winter numbs the lawns
The people rush in the streets with
Their mugged faces
Far down there the ships leave
Leaving their hooters in the ports
I am not crazy and I don't love you
this you by now must know.
