Orpheus looked upwards toward the sky
hoping more
wishing for
imagining of when
or where together they would be again
thus all this time things remained the same
because of Orpheus refuseal to change
====
drifting with melody and verse that he would later arrange
for his lost love
who left for the dark
sweet sweet lovely
beloved Eurodyce
-=====
his songs for her inspired joyful growth
'cross medowfield, valley and forest floors;
added gentle carress to the passing breeze
and playful dance to the wind;
provided pace for the all the brooks rivers and streams, runing in the direction of oceans or lakes,
where there journey would find an end.
as assuredly does the light of the sun
and nuturing rain
as her apperition was part of the underworlds game
causing the divide of thee to they
lead chasing a shadows jest to lead others the same
___
thus all this time things remained the same
because of Orpheus refusal to change
he hadnt realized the deal that was made
the poets lost faith in himself left his soul open for trade
his song and passion then
for the underworld became
a catalyst and lathe
to mold more ______
for all else not recognizing with whom they had been enslaved
he
she
with or without
by heart always with-in reach
her gesturing hither at nightfall or morrows breaking day
the coiling of loves draw
reached for him to continue foreward on
again becoming lost in thought away
drifting further with the verse of their song
'my love, for you, i with, dare not part'
(echoed eurodyces sighing voice -
each syllable in rhythm
with his beating heart)
_________
All this time things remained the same
because of Orpheus refusal to change
Content with his thoughts of her
he hadn't realized the deal that was made
The poets lost faith in God
left his soul open for trade
His song and passion
then
for the underworld became
A catalyst and lathe
to mold more devises
For all else not recognizing
to whom they have been enslaved
