Because you are my friend

Amazing times that have passed
All those years have gone so fast
The first time you walked into my class
I knew me and you would have a blast
4th grade with Mrs. Murphy was the best
At sleepovers we never gotten any rest
It seem like I have known you from the start
We will never ever be torn apart
5th grade was a blast of them all
You were always there to catch my fall
Playing football at recess with the guys at 12: 30
We were the only girls who didn’t mind getting dirty
In 4th grade when all those boys had cooties
We were afraid to kick their booties
All those memories are in the past
But now our future has come too fast
It is time for us to make some more
As we work our friendship to the core
So never worry
Our friendship will never get blurry
It will always be clear
Have no fear
Because I will always be there
I love you
