Bed Bug Poem by Ima Ryma

Bed Bug

A modern day bed bug - I'm back
To bite my human host in bed,
To keep my blood sucking on track,
Cuz after all I must be fed.
Before humans, I was on Earth.
In caves I lived where bats were meals.
Then humans came of tasty worth.
I stayed with them when they got wheels,
And when they got beds fancy so.
But when they got the D.D.T.
That bugged us to death - doncha know!
But that was banned - lucky for me.

You hit the sack and you just might
Get the feel of this bed bug bite.
