Before I Go To School Poem by Elayne Ogbeta

Before I Go To School

Before I go to school
I say good night to mum and dad.
I brush my face
And wash my teeth.
Take off my school uniform
And put on my pajamas.
I eat my orange juice
And drink my Weetabix.
Then I'm ready for school.
I run backwards so that I won't be early.

When it is night-time
I take of my pajamas
And put on my school uniform.
I eat my hot chocolate
And I drink my toast.
I brush my face
And wash my teeth.
Dad closes my storybook.
Now I'm ready for bed.
I sleep upside down
So the dreams travel up my toes
Good morning!
