Before Sleep.
Those warm showers at night,
Which comfort us before sleep.
The kiss,
Which nurtures us in the deep.
The work load,
Which is soon to be complete.
Those moments where we look out the window,
To see the lamp post doing it's show.
The night becomes well lit,
The rays of light which seem to perfectly fit.
Those times where we are alone.
With everyone asleep in a place we call home.
Before the day ends.
The thoughts we keep to ourselves suspends.
For we know what's really in our heart.
May be the reason why we choose to part.

A heartwarming poem that readies for sleep. Well constructed and executed.
There may not be anything off-beat about the subject of the poem but the way it has been treated and presented makes it a masterpiece. I also agree with what Robert and Howard have said about this poem. Just awesome.
