Muhammad Shanazar (25-11-1960 / Pakistan)
Before The Last War
I yearn for a corner,
In the farther end across the sky,
For I wish to seed
In the unknown soil human beings,
I know well my grandsons
Will harvest, even then I want
To sow the crop of peace,
Along the boundary-line.
Before there starts the last world war,
I want to escape to any other
Planet of peace, I am happy
Though I spent nights awakening,
All times carrying the load of dreams.
