Behind Her Eyes Poem by Aqua Flower

Behind Her Eyes

Rating: 4.9

Behind her eyes
does she cry
is her heart now made of stone
feeling abandoned and alone
does she cry
does she feel
does she hide and conceal

Very poignant and probing. At times, human nature can be so enigmatic. Thanks for sharing..

As two of the readers have already said in their comments, eyes are indeed the windows of the soul. The poem evokes poignant feelings in the readers' mind. Reading your poem after a long time. Shall try and catch up with some more that I missed.

Thank you Khairul for reading my poems again. Love poems don't flow from this pen so much anymore, I guess Aqua Flower doesn't feel it the same way in her heart. This poem was inspired by my daughter...that iis her in the picture. :)

Awe thank you...you always have a way of making someone feel special. Your comment is so appreciated. The picture in this poem is my daughter. My father had the same blue eyes...unfortunately that did not get passed along to me. Thank you for reading my poetry.

Maybe one day the stone will beat again, answering it's own questions. A 10!
