Behind the light
You stood alone
A shadow standing
Still as if waiting
For someone to
Take notice!

I took slow
Deliberate steps
To where you
Were and reached
For your hands
I wanted you
By my side of this
I was sure!

Hesitantly at first
You followed me
I wanted to kiss
You passionately
And calm my thirst
In your sweet lips
While exploring
Your whole body with
My hungry fingers!

I did not hesitate
I moved forward
No realizing that
It was just a dream
And I was always the light
While you the shadow
That remained behind!
