Behind The Veil Poem by Noorie Ali

Behind The Veil

sometimes i know i can be a little shallow
act a little low
it just goes to show
how little you know about me
how easily i fall to the ground
teary all around
not making exuses
tides folding over emotions
fast explosions fast flowing rollercoasters
all numb and voiceless
of all these choices to say or to hold
but have you ever heard -
of a sound called silence?
it is the sound of violence beaten up with toture
walking through many misleading memoerys
fading all good and leaving me with enemies
yet everybody thinks im a cold hearted soul
and some think im as warm as a bear
wanting to share all the little things in life
its not fair
the way you judge and compare me-
to the wild side of life that just;
hurts and cuts me like a nife
im willing to stand by you and not let go
if your willing to stand by me and run the show
count me aboad im learning a lesson
wishing how this pain would lessen
change me rearrange me
make me a better porson
so that i taste sweet and less bitter
where is that woman? ; id like to meet her
id like to greet the girl behind the tears
the woman that fears the truth and is afraid
of reality
ask her why she sits alone in her own little mentality
her own sence and her gloomy thought
ask her why she is shallow and so low? ?
